Today I am the BOSS! This is what Brayden told me this morning after telling him happy birthday! He turned 6 years old today. Time goes by so fast. I don't know what we would do without our Brayden in our lives. He is the most stubborn one in the family but can also be the sweetest. When we were building our addition to our home. Brayden was about 3 years old and he could spot a Lowes store from miles away. He would yell, " there's Lowes to daddy!" He always is coming up with fun sayings like, homeboat & hungamungus. He is in Kindergarten now and is doing fabulous! We are very proud of him and he is learning so fast in the classroom. Some things we love about Brayden are;
1. HE LOVES HIS BROTHERS ESPECIALLY TRENTON! To him is world is horrible when Trenton's not around. He also is a great help with Kason. If Kason is crying he is the first to run and take care of him.
2. He has such a tender heart. You wouldn't know it because he hides it well, but he doesn't like anyone to be upset at him.
3. He is my little fixer. That kid can fix anything we give him. We have to hide the batteries from him because he is always wanting to put new batteries in things to make them work. One Christmas there was a toy of Jaxon's that I hadn't opened yet because I didn't want to have to sit and put it together. Brayden asked if he could do it. I said sure thinking that he wouldn't be able to. Twenty minutes later the toy was put together perfectly. (no instructions necessary)
4. He is a natural at sports. I know he is a little man but he loves to play baseball, kickball and will be starting basketball soon. He is completely into the sport when he is playing it. I use to have to get mad at him in baseball because he would never stay in his position. He wanted to play the whole field.
5. He will not give up! He will not quit until he knows how to do something. When he first was learning to ride his bike he wanted to do it by himself. About an hour later he was riding down the street. He is very focused when he wants something.
Happy Birthday Brayden we love you!
These are some of my favorite pictures of him! He had a mischievous little smirk at 1 month old. Some things never change.

Yes that is food in his mouth. The child does eat even though it doesn't look like it.

Happy Birthday Randy!
It was Randy's birthday on September 22nd. He is getting to be such an old man, turning 34 and all! I love this man! He is such a fun, kind hearted, silly, hard working and loving man. Our boys all adore him and want to be just like him. If he is not home they are lost. As soon as he walks through the door every single one of them are crawling all over him and will not give him a break. He loves spending time with his family and gives his boys whatever they want! There have been many of nights that he falls asleep with them in there beds because they always want him to lay with them. He will do anything for his family and I am so grateful for having a hard working husband that wants me to stay home with our kids and will work extra hard to make sure that happens. Thank you Randy for just being you we couldn't make this family work without YOU!!! Hope you had a wonderful birthday.
Oh and just for the fun of it I thought I would post this oldie but goody.

A Little Family Fun!

A few weeks ago Randy was cleaning out his garage and found croquet! I used to love this game when I was younger and we decided to play it for family home evening. We even convinced Cam to play with us YAY! We had so much fun together, although I do have to say ALL of us were a little scared of JAXON! When it was his turn he would yell, " my turn!" Run over to the spot where everyone else was at, put his ball down, and before he would swing we would all run far away from him. That kid better make us some money someday when he plays sports. The kids loved it so much that they have got it out to play multiple times since then. I love those nights when everyone gets along and just has a good time. :)
