I guess I needed to get caught up!! I left the computer after making my other two post and thought I am really greatful for my husband tonight. I don't know if this is appropriate or not but I am going to say it anyway. One thing that Randy has always been good about doing is the dreadful trip to the store for tampons!! He has never once been squimish about it or refused to pick them up when I have asked him to. Even if he is dead asleep he will still go and get them for me. I guess the reason for this post is, I was wondering because this was always a subject that I think my brothers were always squimish about but, do your husbands have a problem doing a little shopping for you?????

It has been awhile!

I know I have been such a slacker lately when it comes to blogging. I don't even have a good excuse. I even realized that I never blogged Brayden's first day of preschool. ( Yikes, I really am a bad mom!) He started preschool a few weeks ago. They have a wonderful program through the City of Henderson. Trenton went there for two years as well. This will be Brayden's second year. I can't believe how time fast goes. I know you always hear people say that but you never really full understand until you see your kids grow. He was not so sure about going back to school the night of open house. He actually cried to go into the classroom that night. Well the first day of school came and it was just like another day for him. His good buddy Maddox was there with him that day, cousin Avrie, friends Nick, & Sariah.

I know, way to much info!

I know this is way too much info on me today but I need to appease Nicole. Actually I read more about her tag and it looks like we have a few things in common.

4 things I adore about my husband:
1. He is crazy. I know I have wrote about this is the past, but he definitely knows how to keep it lively around our house.
2. His honesty can be a good thing or a bad. He never hesitates to tell me what he thinks about something. For example last nights dinner was way too dry for him!
3. I love the way he plays with our children. It can get really annoying when that is all he does, but I have to remind myself that the children love it!
4. He is such a hard worker. He has worked his regular job plus a ton of side jobs just to support our family so I didn't have to work anymore.

4 Movies I would watch more than once:
1.A Leauge of Their Own
2.Son in Law
3.Hitch
4.50 First Dates

4 TV shows I would watch more than once:
1. I am definitely a Bachelor fan
2. One Tree Hill
3. Mystery Diagnosis
4. My Name is Earl ( just for my husband, his first name is Earl)

Places I have Been
-My big trip was the Back East Trip when I was in High School
- Cambria, California- what a cute little town

4 people who email me regularly:
Wayne and Dina
Stephanie
Dad & Mom
Box Tops for Education

4 favorite foods
1.Potatoes of any kind ( the reason I look the way I do, I can't say no)
2.Pork Salad from Cafe Rio
3.Dr. Pepper (I know it's not a food but sometimes I drink it in place of food)
4.Tracey's Pasta Salad

4 Places I would like to visit
1. Hawaii
2. Austrailia
3. Disney World
4. Bahammas

4 things I am looking forward to in this coming year
1. getting out of debt
2. Getting skinny again (we will see)
3. Making my life more organized
4. MY BIRTHDAY

4 people I would like to tag
Stephanie
Janelle
Cami
Felicia

Okay I will finally do this tag thing

I got tagged four times so I thought I should finally do it. I figured I could pick the tag that was the easiest.
5 interesting things about me, this might be hard.

1. I am a very competitive person. I grew up with 7 brothers and only 1 sister what can you expect. I do try to keep it under wraps but those of you in my bunco group know that I am really loud and obnoxios when it comes to winning something.

2. I used to substitute teach.I actually ended up doing a couple of long term jobs, so I taught in a first grade classroom for 6 months. I loved it! I hated being away from my kids but I had to do it. It was a great experience for me and it also counted as two of my classes towards my teaching degree. Yes, I am still going to finish my degree someday! I haven't taken a class since I was pregnant with Brayden, yikes it has been that long. I do love working with kids and I miss being in the classroom. I think that is why I like being so involved in PTA because I feel at home when I am in the school setting.

3. I make diaper cakes for fun. If you have read my blog in the past I have a picture of one of my cakes. I did get paid for that one, what a perk! I am very proud of myself for this one because most of you know that I am not a very creative person or crafty for that matter. Tell me to play a game with a group of kids, no problem. Tell me to tie a bow or make a poster or anything else crafty I might have a panic attack. I have always admired those people that can make such cute things, this is why I am so proud of myself.

4. According to Tracey I am bossy. I guess that is probably were my kids get it from. I don't try to be bossy I just can't stand to keep quiet when I see stuff that I know is being done wrong.

5. I am really shy. I know most of you don't think that but I really am. Growing up I was too afraid to say anything. Then I went away to school in Cedar City for two years. I loved it up there and also found the confidence in myself. I am a big believer in being secure with yourself. When I was growing up I thought I had to be like my sister. Tall, thin, cheerleader, the one that all the boys wanted. Well I finally realized that I am not that person and I needed to be confident in the person that I was. So now I am loud, friendly and try not to compare myself with others and just be happy being ME! Still underneath I am that shy girl and she comes out sometimes. Besides, I can't be shy anymore being married to my crazy, funny and social husband. He doesn't give me a choice he is friends with everyone. He knows all the neighbors by name and knows what is going on in their lives. ( you just have to love him )

We lost a loving member of our family

I know that some of you know, but we lost a great member of our family last week. We have had him for about 4 years now and he as been a very contributing member of our family. It was a sad day to see him go. My boys have had some great times with him, I had to have one last photo with all of my boys and him before he left.

ON THE OTHER HAND I DID A HAPPY DANCE TO HAVE HIM GO! RANDY BOUGHT THE TRACTOR SO HE WOULDN'T HAVE TO RENT ONE WHEN HE DID SIDE JOBS. WELL I HAVE BEEN VERY GRATEFUL FOR ALL OF THOSE SIDE JOBS BECAUSE IT HAS SUPPORTED OUR FAMILY FOR A LONG TIME. NOW THAT RANDY HAS A GREAT JOB AND WE DON'T HAVE TO COUNT ON HIS SIDE JOBS ANYMORE WE DECIDED IT WAS TIME TO SELL IT. BESIDES THE FACT THE WAY THE ECONOMY IS NOW DAYS HE HASN'T USED THE TRACTOR SINCE MARCH. WHAT A BLESSING IT HAS BEEN IN OUR LIVES TO HAVE IT. IT IS ALSO A GREAT BLESSING TO SELL IT!! THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK RANDY AND THE TRACTOR!!

This last weekend we had a family reunion in Mesquite. I have to say our family looks forward to this one every year. It is with my mom's side of the family. They are all so fun, that we look forward to seeing everyone. We go up every year and last year we started staying in these really nice timeshares. Well, Joe had the best room last year. I never saw it but heard all of the fuss about it. My Aunt Renee wanted that room! So last year she went to the front desk to reserve it for this year and it was already reserved. My brother Wayne had beat her to it! To my benefit Wayne and Dina were not able to come. So we ended up with their room. We were sad that they weren't there, but man it was a nice room. It was big enough that I could put Jaxon to sleep in the back room and wouldn't wake him up if we were noisy in the front room. We got up there Friday afternoon. Randy went golfing and it was up to me to go shopping for food for the weekend. Lucky for me my dad came with. It was a fun little shopping trip. We took Jaxon and it was fun to have grandpa with us. Jaxon and grandpa kept going around and hiding and scarring me. Jaxon thought that was great! Then we came back and went swimming, which I have to say is really fun now that Brayden's not hanging on my neck and screaming to get out the whole time. Now he is a fish and you can't talk him into getting out of the pool. We then went to dinner at this little Mexican restaurant there. We love there food, the chips a salsa are great. Bowling time came next, Jaxon was exhausted because he hadn't napped all day but he was a trooper for a little while. Saturday was the big day were we all met at a recreation center and eat, play games, and have an auction. This year was really fun. My Uncle Bevin did the Olympics. I had to sit out and watch Jaxon but my crazy husband played and had a blast. To finish off our night we went ice blocking. This is what my kids look forward to the most. They have the best hill for it there in Mesquite. I think we ended up getting 14 or so ice blocks. It was so much fun even Jaxon went down the hill with Uncle Joe running beside him. (Thanks Joe) After he went down Joe was his new best friend. He kept saying Joe Go, Joe Go. On Sunday a lot of us gathered together and had my cousin Cole talk to us about his mission. He just returned home from Bulgaria. He did a great job and it such a great feeling to have our family in a room together with such a strong spirit there. Cole's spirit was so strong and it was a great way to end a wonderful family reunion. I am grateful to have such a wonderful family that is so supportive of each other. Oh,by the way, yes Randy had to take his shirt off to distract the other Potato Sack racers. Never a dull moment!!!
