It's Good to be Home

These are the words my cute Trenton said to me when he came through the door from school today. I have always hoped that our home has the spirit here and gives our kids a comforting, safe and fun feeling when they are here. Today when I heard Trent say those words it almost made me cry. I told him I was glad to have him home then we sat and talked for a few minutes about school. Then he sat on the couch holding Kason and watched Blues Clues with him. It's these little sweet moments that make life so wonderful! Thank you Trenton for being such a great son and bringing so much peace and love into our lives.

Happy 3rd Birthday Jaxon

Today is Jaxon's 3rd Birthday! I know I say this every year but time really does fly. It doesn't matter how many boys I have they all have my heart. Jaxon was such an easy baby and is such a fun toddler. I thought I would write 10 things I love about Jaxon!

10. I love that he loves his brothers. He is always trying to sleep with one of them and they are nice enough to let him sometimes. When they are at school he constantly asks where they are at. The other day he thought we were leaving Trenton home because we were walking out the door and Trent was still putting his shoes on. He started screaming," WHAT BOUT TRENTON!"

9. I love when he is crying and tired that he says to me, "mom I want you to snuggle me." He wakes up in the morning wanting a love and has fallen asleep multiple times on Randy's lap.

8. I love when it is time for chores he runs to the chore list and says," I need vacuum and playroom." He thinks he can read and wants to be big like his brothers.
7. I love that he has his dad wrapped around his little finger. All he has to do is say, " please dad " and he gets whatever he wants.

6. I love that he loves to cook. ( I know Randy hates this one) He loves to help me in the kitchen all of the time. I even try to sneak sometimes and hurry to make something and he always hears me and runs right in and pushes the chair over to the counter so he can help. He is constantly reminding me that he is a good helper.

5. I love that he is so loving with Kason. We were on our way home from Disneyland last week and I looked in the back to see how the kids were and I found him and Kason sound to sleep holding hands. He loves Kason and is very protective over him. I hope that continues when they are teenagers.

4. I love that he refers to Trenton and Brayden as kids or brothers! It is so cute to hear him yell, "kids time for bed."

3. I love that he thinks all of Randy's ties are ropes. He plays with them all of the time and ties them to things.

2. I love his little smile! You can't help but smile when you see him smile. He lights up the whole room.

1. I love that Heavenly Father sent this wonderful boy to me! He brightens up our lives and brings a wonderful spirit into our home and our family. We love you Jaxon! Happy 3rd Birthday!!

I just found this picture and it is a memory that just makes Randy and I smile so I had to share it. Back in September we had our Crowther family reunion in Mesquite. We were all together in this recreation center and one of my Uncles got on the microphone and said 10 minutes then the silent auction would be over. Well, Jaxon I watched him do this and he went over and tapped on the top of the microphone and said, " 10 minutes!" My sweet Aunt Joy was the one who told me about this and we laughed about it all day. Now any time we say ten minutes in our house we think of that day and Aunt Joy.

A Little Bit of Kason

I know I have to catch up on a ton of stuff but I realized that I haven't posted anything about Kason in a long time. They grow way too fast!

Our little pumpkin for Halloween. ( 2 1/2 months old)

He was finally a happy baby! He loves the Bumbo seat! ( Thanks Alisa)

We love his little giggle. He thought Grandpa was hilarious the night of my birthday.
He is a much better sleeper now that he is 4 months old. ( Still not sleeping through the night but better.)

Our family Christmas party is always so much fun and Kason was a trooper. He didn't fuss when Santa was holding him he just grabbed the present. He started reaching for things when he was four months. I love to watch him focus on something then his little hands move to grab it. So adorable.

Four months old and teething! I had to take him to the doctor they said from all the fluid everywhere it now has caused an ear infection. The poor boy can't win. He finally got over the colic now he starts in with ear infections and teething.

Christmas Eve and our baby Jesus. I think all of my boys except Jaxon were the youngest baby in our family which won them the role of baby Jesus in our Nativity pageant on Christmas Eve. Here he is with Mary (SKY ) holding him. He loves Skylar and she takes such good care of him. She was over to my house for a few hours one time and was watching him for me while I got some stuff done. I came downstairs and he was sleeping sitting in her arms. It is so nice to have so much family to help take care of him.

Kason and his friend Ethan on Christmas Day. Ethan is huge he is a month younger than Kason and they look the same size.

Okay I'm tired I will catch up more later.

The Boss!

Today I am the BOSS! This is what Brayden told me this morning after telling him happy birthday! He turned 6 years old today. Time goes by so fast. I don't know what we would do without our Brayden in our lives. He is the most stubborn one in the family but can also be the sweetest. When we were building our addition to our home. Brayden was about 3 years old and he could spot a Lowes store from miles away. He would yell, " there's Lowes to daddy!" He always is coming up with fun sayings like, homeboat & hungamungus. He is in Kindergarten now and is doing fabulous! We are very proud of him and he is learning so fast in the classroom. Some things we love about Brayden are;

1. HE LOVES HIS BROTHERS ESPECIALLY TRENTON! To him is world is horrible when Trenton's not around. He also is a great help with Kason. If Kason is crying he is the first to run and take care of him.

2. He has such a tender heart. You wouldn't know it because he hides it well, but he doesn't like anyone to be upset at him.

3. He is my little fixer. That kid can fix anything we give him. We have to hide the batteries from him because he is always wanting to put new batteries in things to make them work. One Christmas there was a toy of Jaxon's that I hadn't opened yet because I didn't want to have to sit and put it together. Brayden asked if he could do it. I said sure thinking that he wouldn't be able to. Twenty minutes later the toy was put together perfectly. (no instructions necessary)

4. He is a natural at sports. I know he is a little man but he loves to play baseball, kickball and will be starting basketball soon. He is completely into the sport when he is playing it. I use to have to get mad at him in baseball because he would never stay in his position. He wanted to play the whole field.

5. He will not give up! He will not quit until he knows how to do something. When he first was learning to ride his bike he wanted to do it by himself. About an hour later he was riding down the street. He is very focused when he wants something.

Happy Birthday Brayden we love you!

These are some of my favorite pictures of him! He had a mischievous little smirk at 1 month old. Some things never change.

Yes that is food in his mouth. The child does eat even though it doesn't look like it.

The Small Things

It was a really bad day today! I am thankful for the simple things like friends who know what I need.

Yes, I "needed" a Dr. Pepper and one came to me just like that. It is the small things that make me happy. Like, Jaxon saying, " what about me?" Trenton offering to get me a glass of water for dinner. Brayden doing his chores without me nagging him. The spirit in our home and last but not least, this cute little face!

Missing My Boys

Grandpa called yesterday and asked if he could take Trent hunting with him and Lonney. After rushing to the store to get him some warm clothes I got him all ready. Brayden was in tears multiple times while I was getting Trent ready. I finally said, " are you crying because you can't go or are you crying because Trent is not going to be here." He shook his little head yes and said, "because he's not going to be here, who am I going to play with?" These two have always been inseparable! I love that they love each other so much and get along so well. I hope it stays that way forever. So after Trent got home from school we took him up to grandpa's. Brayden was still sad but at least he wasn't crying! Then Lonney came to pick them up and grandpa and him said go get Brayden ready we will take him too. I rushed home without Brayden knowing and got him ready. I showed him his bags and asked if he could go put them in the trailer. Needless to say he was VERY excited. The next thing I knew he was leading Trenton to the trailer asking him to close his eyes because he had a surprise for him. (HOW CUTE!) Well as they loaded up in the truck to pull away we found a little hider in the trailer. That would be JAXON. He told grandpa, " SHUT THE DOOR." (little stinker) We followed them over to Lonney's house with Jaxon in the trailer to see what he would do if they started moving. That dang kid thought he got away with leaving with him he was not happy when I pulled him out of the trailer!! I know that they are having so much fun camping with grandpa, uncle Lonney, Justin and David but it just doesn't feel the same without them here.

Pumpkin Patch

It has been awhile since we had this fun outing but I am doing a little catch up. Lindsey put this play group together and we had so much fun. We got a deal where we paid $5 per child and they got to do each ride once plus the petting zoo. Then they gave them a little pumpkin to take home. It was so cute and a lot cheaper than we normally spend to go there. I did get pictures of them on the rides but they didn't turn out so well.
Kason with a pumpkin just right for him!
I don't know what Jaxon's problem is lately but he will not cooperate when we try to take pictures. This picture sums up his little grumpiness!
Then Brayden had to get in on the action!
and this is the best we could come up with.
I could never be a photographer. Trying to get all the kids to look and smile at the same time is exhausting! It was a fun day with the boys and they loved it. Of course you ask them what there favorite part was and they said SLIDE! Except for Jaxon he was way scared to go up there so my great friend Carolyn took him up for me.
