Jerrick is Home

My nephew Jerrick came home from his mission on Monday! What a great day it was. I love when my nephews come home from their missions because my kids think they are celebrities. They were excited but I am not quite sure if they knew why they were excited. After he finally came down the escalator and he gathered his bags. The large group of us was walking across to the parking garage. I could see all of my kids except Trenton. I figured he was with one of our family members. Well, when we got to the parking garage and everyone started going their separate ways there was still no sign of Trent. I started asking around if anyone had seen him and after a few no answers I started to panic. Then someone said, "he was rolling Jerrick's luggage." I caught up to them and sure enough there he was rolling Jerrick's luggage right by him. I loved the way he was looking at Jerrick with admiration. I am so glad I have such a wonderful family that raises great kids that my boys could look up to! After the airport we went over to Rob and Liz's for family home evening. We listened to Jerrick's testimony, took some pictures ate and swam. What a great day!

Basketball

I know it's a little late but I have to catch up on our basketball season. I have to say this is my favorite sport to watch. The boys both did great! We were lucky enough to have Uncle Rob as the coach for both teams.

We missed the last game and party because we were in Disneyland so Rob came over and brought the boys their trophies.
* I just now realized that I didn't take one picture of them playing. Or maybe I did and just can't find it. *
Trenton excelled in this sport this year. He started to become aggressive and get right into the game. It always takes him a little while to warm up in whatever sport he is playing but this season he jumped right in. He was able to have his cousins Trevor and Lance on the team. It was so fun to watch these guys play. The team had a PERFECT season. That's right they won all of their games! We were very proud of Trenton and glad he had fun this season.
Brayden, oh Brayden! He is my most competitive boy thus far. He puts his heart and soul into whatever sport he is playing. This kid would come home and watch basketball on tv then go out in the backyard and try whatever he saw the pros do. His age bracket is really funny to watch. Most of the kids get mauled, so he was never able to get a shot but that never stopped him from trying. He was able to have his cousin Dallin on the team with him so it was such a fun season!

Mom Kason's Dirty!

I have to post this before I forget. I know I need to catch up on a ton of stuff but this was so cute I couldn't pass it up. I was in the kitchen cleaning up so I put Kason in the swing and put Blues Clues on for him and Jaxon. Things were going so well, neither one of them was bothering me and Trenton and Brayden were actually helping me without complaining. Then in walks Jaxon to the kitchen and very frankly says, "mom Kason's dirty. " I said what do you mean Kason's dirty? ( I mean really how dirty can this kid get just by sitting in his swing). I go around the corner and this is what I find.

Jaxon had very slyly came in the kitchen and got some oreo cookies. The sweet brother that he is he got one for Kason too!!! No complaints on Kason's end as you can see. I guess there is no point in trying to feed him baby food anymore. How could you go back to baby food after having oreo cookies? I love Jaxon's little sly smile on his face. He looks sneaky and very proud of himself.

" BUGZ "

Brayden had his Kindergarten play last night. I have to say I am so proud of this kid! Brayden is my child that can not be convinced to do anything. He will only do it if he wants to. Well, I was talking with his teacher and told her how much he wanted to be an army ant in the play. She told me that he really wasn't marching a lot and he wasn't loud enough. (come on Brayden not loud enough) She said that he really needed to work on it if he wanted to be one. He worked on it so much that a couple of weeks ago he came home with a wristband and when I asked him why he got it he said because he did so well in the army ant practice. This part was perfect for him because he is OBSESSED with anything army! He was in heaven doing his little part and he was so excited to be wearing camo for it. He is the army ant in the back of this video. Great job Brayden we are so proud of you!

This is a few of the other army ants, Nick and Kiaden.

Me and my little man!

Trent came with me but the others stayed home.

The teachers did such a cute job with all the decorations.

Getting ready in the classroom before the performance.

He's so HANDSOME!

It's Good to be Home

These are the words my cute Trenton said to me when he came through the door from school today. I have always hoped that our home has the spirit here and gives our kids a comforting, safe and fun feeling when they are here. Today when I heard Trent say those words it almost made me cry. I told him I was glad to have him home then we sat and talked for a few minutes about school. Then he sat on the couch holding Kason and watched Blues Clues with him. It's these little sweet moments that make life so wonderful! Thank you Trenton for being such a great son and bringing so much peace and love into our lives.

Happy 3rd Birthday Jaxon

Today is Jaxon's 3rd Birthday! I know I say this every year but time really does fly. It doesn't matter how many boys I have they all have my heart. Jaxon was such an easy baby and is such a fun toddler. I thought I would write 10 things I love about Jaxon!

10. I love that he loves his brothers. He is always trying to sleep with one of them and they are nice enough to let him sometimes. When they are at school he constantly asks where they are at. The other day he thought we were leaving Trenton home because we were walking out the door and Trent was still putting his shoes on. He started screaming," WHAT BOUT TRENTON!"

9. I love when he is crying and tired that he says to me, "mom I want you to snuggle me." He wakes up in the morning wanting a love and has fallen asleep multiple times on Randy's lap.

8. I love when it is time for chores he runs to the chore list and says," I need vacuum and playroom." He thinks he can read and wants to be big like his brothers.
7. I love that he has his dad wrapped around his little finger. All he has to do is say, " please dad " and he gets whatever he wants.

6. I love that he loves to cook. ( I know Randy hates this one) He loves to help me in the kitchen all of the time. I even try to sneak sometimes and hurry to make something and he always hears me and runs right in and pushes the chair over to the counter so he can help. He is constantly reminding me that he is a good helper.

5. I love that he is so loving with Kason. We were on our way home from Disneyland last week and I looked in the back to see how the kids were and I found him and Kason sound to sleep holding hands. He loves Kason and is very protective over him. I hope that continues when they are teenagers.

4. I love that he refers to Trenton and Brayden as kids or brothers! It is so cute to hear him yell, "kids time for bed."

3. I love that he thinks all of Randy's ties are ropes. He plays with them all of the time and ties them to things.

2. I love his little smile! You can't help but smile when you see him smile. He lights up the whole room.

1. I love that Heavenly Father sent this wonderful boy to me! He brightens up our lives and brings a wonderful spirit into our home and our family. We love you Jaxon! Happy 3rd Birthday!!

I just found this picture and it is a memory that just makes Randy and I smile so I had to share it. Back in September we had our Crowther family reunion in Mesquite. We were all together in this recreation center and one of my Uncles got on the microphone and said 10 minutes then the silent auction would be over. Well, Jaxon I watched him do this and he went over and tapped on the top of the microphone and said, " 10 minutes!" My sweet Aunt Joy was the one who told me about this and we laughed about it all day. Now any time we say ten minutes in our house we think of that day and Aunt Joy.

A Little Bit of Kason

I know I have to catch up on a ton of stuff but I realized that I haven't posted anything about Kason in a long time. They grow way too fast!

Our little pumpkin for Halloween. ( 2 1/2 months old)

He was finally a happy baby! He loves the Bumbo seat! ( Thanks Alisa)

We love his little giggle. He thought Grandpa was hilarious the night of my birthday.
He is a much better sleeper now that he is 4 months old. ( Still not sleeping through the night but better.)

Our family Christmas party is always so much fun and Kason was a trooper. He didn't fuss when Santa was holding him he just grabbed the present. He started reaching for things when he was four months. I love to watch him focus on something then his little hands move to grab it. So adorable.

Four months old and teething! I had to take him to the doctor they said from all the fluid everywhere it now has caused an ear infection. The poor boy can't win. He finally got over the colic now he starts in with ear infections and teething.

Christmas Eve and our baby Jesus. I think all of my boys except Jaxon were the youngest baby in our family which won them the role of baby Jesus in our Nativity pageant on Christmas Eve. Here he is with Mary (SKY ) holding him. He loves Skylar and she takes such good care of him. She was over to my house for a few hours one time and was watching him for me while I got some stuff done. I came downstairs and he was sleeping sitting in her arms. It is so nice to have so much family to help take care of him.

Kason and his friend Ethan on Christmas Day. Ethan is huge he is a month younger than Kason and they look the same size.

Okay I'm tired I will catch up more later.
