Do you ever have one of those nights????

I know I should be sleeping peacefully in my bed right now but I have a million things running through my head and can't sleep. I might want to erase this post tomorrow.:) I was sleeping really well( because I finally got my doctors okay to take Claritin D for my allergies) then my eyes popped open about 2:00 and it was downhill from there. This week is teacher appreciation week at our school. Normally it is not a big deal I work with great people in the PTA and we are organized and have everything covered. This time I am afraid that I might forget some of my responsibilities. I blame it on the pregnancy brain I have and the fact that the other half of my brain (that would be Tracey for all of you that don't know) is super busy and that is hard for me because I count on her for so much. Then I had a little bit of and issue with Cameron yesterday. Teenage years are so much fun especially when I am not his "real" mom! (that is what he says) Even though Cameron an I have had our ups and downs it doesn't mean I don't love him and want the best for him. So as these and other things like not forgetting to pay bills that are due and other things are running through my mind I decide to just get up. Normally if I can't sleep I would just go downstairs and watch TV to keep my mind off of things and eventually I fall back to sleep. Well we just had dish network installed and I hate scanning the guide to find what I want to watch. It is so exhausting to me, I guess it is just going to have to take some getting use to. So here I am catching up on friends and families blogs and writing this for no apparent reason hoping that I will get tired. Wish me luck I have a long day in a few hours. I guess it is a good thing that my kids sleep till 8:00!!

Brayden's Game Ball, A Penny, and Pop Fly!

I know that I have to still catch up on our California trip and Easter but I had to do this post about Brayden before I forgot. Brayden's favorite thing to do is play baseball right now. He loves it and is very focused when he is playing the game. He got the game ball last Saturday. He was so excited because he has been waiting to get that dang game ball. Well he had an awesome hit when the coach pitched him the ball so he finally got it!!

Later that night him and Trenton were being really silly. I told them to finish cleaning their room and then go to bed. I headed off to get some relaxing time in the tub. Well, 2 minutes later here comes Trent saying, "mom Brayden swallowed a penny!" Sure enough he swallowed a penny! I asked them what happened and Trent said that he did something really funny that made Brayden laugh so hard he fell to the ground. when he fell to the ground he had a penny in his mouth.(don't ask me why it was in his mouth but it was!) Brayden was not turning blue or anything so I called my mom to ask her what to do. I figured she had 7 boys one of them had to have swallowed a penny growing up. As I was talking to her I told her what happened, her comment was so funny to me. She said," if it was a penny don't worry about it, it will go down. Rob swallowed a penny and there wasn't a problem. Now, Lonney swallowed a quarter and he had to stay the night in the hospital." Who knew that swallowing one coin over the other would be better.:) I figured I would call Dr. Lonney ( he is not really a doctor but I think he missed his calling in life) anyway I told him about it and he recalls that he was only 4 years old when he swallowed the quarter and that he swallowed it because Rob was trying to get it from him! He did give me a wonderful thought, "make sure you tell Brayden that he is going to poop it out!" All is well with the penny, not quite sure if he has pooped it out yet. If he has he didn't tell me!!!!

At Trenton's game last night Brayden talked grandpa into playing catch with him. This kid is so obsessed! He would sleep with his glove if we let him. Grandpa was throwing him pop flies.(is that how you spell it?) He was doing awesome! He was even running up and catching them. They had been playing for a really long time and mom and I heard this scream. Brayden always screams when he cries so I didn't think anything of it I was just mad that he was screaming. I tell him all the time I don't care if you cry you just don't need to scream! Well, this time I can't blame him for screaming. Grandpa brought him over to me with blood all over his mouth. I started cleaning him up while grandpa went to go get ice. Once he calmed down and we cleaned him up there was this huge fat lip! They couldn't find a tee ball so they had been playing with a baseball. Grandpa felt so bad and was worried that he wouldn't want to play baseball again. Brayden not play baseball? That is not possible first thing this morning he brings a tee ball downstairs and wants to know where his glove is so we can play catch. Why is it that everything happens to this kid!? Randy and I are very nervous as to what is going to happen when he is a teenager!!!!

Take Me Out to the Ball Game!!

Every general conference for as long as I can remember the Robbins family that lives here gets together at the park between sessions and plays baseball. It is always so much fun and if you ever mention general conference to my kids they say, " yes we get to play baseball and have donuts!" This time we decided to play kickball. It was a lot of fun even Jaxon got out there and kicked the ball and acted like he knew what he was doing running to first base. I say first base because it seems like after that we had to coach him through it. He was a trooper and stayed on those bases until we told him to run. Everyone even brought their dogs this year. We have never been a dog family but we have all slowly caved and added dogs into our families. There are only a few brothers that do not have them now. Well our dog and Joe and Tracey's dog don't like each other so much. I tried to get a picture because all they would do is fight. It seems strange because our kids get along so well you would think that our dogs would! (Definitely not the case) After a few hours of this we go home watch the next session of conference and head up to grandma and grandpa's for dinner and the best treat of all. GRANDPA'S HOMEMADE DONUTS!!!! Yes they are the best we had to cut Cameron off when he had about 6 of them then he was trying to con the other kids into going and getting him one. My mom has a window in the kitchen that has the deck on the other side and that is were she takes orders and serves from. The kids absolutely love it and I hope we never stop that tradition because my kids would be devastated. What am I saying the adults would be devastated as well. Thanks grandpa and grandma!!!

New Puppy & Davids Home!!

About a month ago Randy calls me and says he is bringing home a puppy. I reply with, NO YOU ARE NOT! I am not a pet person and I really hate having to have one more to clean up after. Then he proceeds to tell me that it is a boy PIT BULL!!!! I then replied with DEFINITELY NOT! I DO NOT WANT A DOG LET ALONE A PIT BULL! AND BY THE WAY IF I HAVE A CHOICE OF THE SEX OF SOMETHING COMING INTO OUR FAMILY IT BETTER BE A GIRL!!!! Well I guess he took that as it was okay because here comes our new puppy home that afternoon. Was I going to strangle him? YES! Do I still want to strangle him? YES!! Now the kids are attached to the dang dog and I don't know how to get rid of her. She is really cute, her name is Roxy. (Thanks Sky) I have just heard so many bad stories about Pit Bulls. I have also heard good stories so we will see what happens. This is the best picture I have of her.

My nephew David came home from his mission in Australia!! What and exciting day. We went and welcomed him home in St. George, Utah. We just went up for the day. Jaxon was just a baby when he left so I am sure that it was weird for David to see him walking and talking. He looks just the same and it is nice to have him home. The following Sunday we headed for Panaca to hear his homecoming talk. He did an amazing job. It is wonderful to see how much missionaries grow on there missions. We left the homecoming and when we got in the car I asked the boys how they liked his talk. Trenton said it almost made him cry. What a great spirit David has to be able to touch a 7 year old like that. Welcome home David!!!

An Overdue Update!!

About three weeks ago we headed up to Utah for my nephew Tyler's wedding. Randy had to work and I didn't want to miss the wedding so the boys and I loaded up and headed out. It was funny because I got A LOT of comments saying how crazy I was to drive 5 hours by myself with the boys. I have always just thought they are my kids and I try not to let them slow me down too much. They were GREAT on the ride up and back!! I just packed a cooler with drinks and snacks and you can't forget movies.( What did we ever do without portable DVD players!) We only had to stop once on the way up for gas and a potty break and the same on the way back. I stayed with my brother Wayne and his wife Dina. They were wonderful to me and the boys! This is a picture of Wayne and Trenton making breakfast Saturday morning.

We decided to go bowling after breakfast! Sounds so sweet and innocent doesn't it. When you factor in a two year old without a nap that thinks every turn is HIS, not so much fun! Trent and Brayden had a great time and Jaxon was thrilled when it was his turn but he would scream and fight with me until it was his turn again. It was a good thing that Uncle Wayne ordered some french fries with ranch that kept him busy for a minute!!

That night was the reception. I never realized how scary it is to bring three crazy boys to a nice reception. They had it decorated so pretty and some wonderful desserts lined the refreshment table. That was a disaster waiting to happen. So we steered clear of that and Grandpa helped us find the toys in the nursery!

When I had visited with all of the family for a few seconds I decided I should take these guys somewhere to burn some of their energy. We went to McDonald's of course! Luckily Felicia and Joe came with us which was a win win situation. I was able to visit with them since I don't get to see my Felich much since she got married and the boys absolutely love to be around them. It was one of the highlights of the trip. I think we stayed there for about two hours till the boys faces were red and their energy level was lowered.

Getting together with my family is always so much fun. It wouldn't have been a Robbins function if we didn't play some Aggravation!! Friday night and Saturday night we had LATE NIGHTS of Aggravation fun! Thanks so much to Wayne and Dina for opening their home to me and my CRAZY boys it was nice to be able to visit and spend time with them. We also had to make a stop to Uncle Dale and Aunt Tamara's. A Utah trip would not be complete without it. The boys love to see their cows and dogs and love the playroom there. We also stopped on the way home to see Grandpa and Grandma Robbins in Payson. I got a really cute picture with Grandpa great, Grandpa and the boys.

Boy or Girl????

Some of you know that we went in for an ultrasound today! Drum roll please............................. we are having a BOY!!! No I am not joking! My husband can't make anything but BOYS! I have to admit I was shocked and a little sad, I thought that I could at least have one girl. I still can't imagine myself with a girl but I just feel like I am missing out by not getting to experience. I know that everyone says that girls are so hard I guess I just wanted to find out for myself. I can try again is what some of you are thinking, but I can't the Drs. won't let me have anymore after this one. This will be my fourth c-section so this will be it. Okay enough whining! Now I need help coming up with a name. All of my boys names end in N so I need to come up with a name that I love that ends in an N. The only ones I kind of like are Peyton and Talan. I am not in love with either so give me your suggestions.

Free Two Year Old!

Free two year old, anyone interested? This week was one of those weeks with him. I was talking to one of my sister in laws and she said that pregnant women have a hard time with there kids. Not because they are hormonal but because then it makes us question why are we even having another one I can't even control the ones I have! This is how I felt this week. The other day he woke up at 7:00(way too early for me) and I heard him singing, " so, I a rock "-- translation- So What I am a Rock Star. That is the attitude I got from him all DAY! Today he was in time out, no lie, 10 times before we went to Trenton's game at noon. Do you think I need to change my parenting strategy with him! :) I guess I really won't give him away because he can be so dang cute but when his older brothers are afraid of him I think something is wrong! This is a picture of him on his birthday not wanting to get in his car seat.
