WHAT A DIFFERENCE A MONTH MAKES
I know this is two posts in a day but I had to put this one on before I forgot. I realize that babies grow so fast but it seems like Kason is growing faster than the others. I wanted him to stay tiny for a long time but I guess he has other plans. I took him in the other day for his 1 month well check.

Grateful
I am feeling very grateful today. I have to say Kason has given me a run for my money this past month! Don't get me wrong I LOVE MY SWEET BABY! It just has been so different with him, you think this being my fourth I would have it down. (definitely not the case)Anyway back to I am grateful.. I could not have made it through this last month if it wasn't for my wonderful husband!!
He has been such a big help to me. He took 2 weeks off to stay home with me which was a first. Laundry, dishes, making breakfast, lunch, dinner, whatever it was he did without me asking him to. Even now after a long hot day at work he comes home and jumps right in to help me and I don't think he will ever comprehend how much that means to me. Thanks Randy I love you!
Now, the other night I started coming down with a head cold. Randy took the kids up to my moms for a little while so I could rest. When they got home they went and showered and went to bed because Randy told them I wasn't feeling well. We thought they were in bed but we kept hearing little footsteps upstairs. Randy went up to see what was going on and this is what he found on my pillow.
In the heart it says love T.T and B.T ( just in case it wasn't clear) My kids are really in to putting their initials on things lately. I open it up and inside there is a cute picture that Trenton drew and it says, "I hope you feel better. "( Trent said it was Brayden's idea to do this but he feel asleep before it was done:) That made my night and I am so grateful that I have thoughtful boys. Everyone says boys will be boys and I know that but I want my boys to be sweet boys as well. They will probably kill me when they get older for posting this but I think its adorable. I love all my boys and am grateful for them in my life!

LET ME BE YOUR MANAGER!
Our little Kindergartner had a big day today. When I picked him up from school he was telling me that they went and watched magic in this other room today. He was all excited because he was chose to be a helper. He told me all about the magic trick and they let him keep the card that they caught on fire and then it went back to normal. He showed me the card and we talked about putting it in a safe place so he could remember the exciting trick that he was a part of. Well, later today I went and picked Skylar and Trent from school and the first thing they said was that they had a mad science assembly in school that day. I guess there were a bunch of classes that went and it just so happened that Sky, Trent and Brayden were all in the same assembly. They said that they picked Brayden out of all the kids there. He was a little celebrity because when we got home our neighbor told me the same thing. I should have sold his autograph. I asked him why they chose him, if it was because he was so cute or because he was being so good. He said it was because he was so good. He has been such a shock since he started Kindergarten. I thought he was going to have a rough time but he absolutely LOVES it!! (Thank goodness)

Kason's Blessing
I don't know if I can explain how I felt yesterday during Kason's blessing. I guess you could say it was a little bittersweet. Knowing that this is the last time we will be blessing one of our children is sad. On the other hand WOOO HOOO!!!! Randy did a wonderful job and I cried through the whole thing. Then he came to sit back down and informed me that Kason had filled his diaper during the prayer and there were a few chuckles up in the circle. I went out to change his diaper and there was only a tiny bit there. Afterwards Grandma and Grandpa came over to take pictures and needless to say Kason was not cooperating. He has been really colicky for the last week and his blessing day was no exception. These are the few good pictures we got for now. We are definitely going to have to dress him up another day so we can get some more. Besides Cameron said he wasn't feeling good so he wasn't in any of the pictures. We all meet up at grandma and grandpa's for dinner. It is overwhelming all of the help that our family gives us. Everyone brought something to contribute to the meal which helps us out so much. Thanks to them the dinner turned out great! It was a special day even though he was not the happiest little man. We could feel the spirit so strong and want to thank everyone for all your help, love and support!

First Day Reactions
The first day of school! I can't tell if I am happy or sad!?!?!? Cameron is in High School!! I know that is very scary! He stayed at his mom's tonight but through texting I found out that he had an OK day. That was about all he said. (typical teenager) Trent is in 3rd grade and Brayden in Kindergarten. I was a little sad that I had to rush from dropping off Trent to get Brayden to his class but it didn't bother Trent one bit. He has friends in his class that have been there since first grade so he was not phased. When I asked him what he thought of third grade he replied, "awesome!" Now, Brayden I was a little worried about. He has told me that he does not want to go to school for awhile now. After this morning I realized he was making it all up. He has his friend Nick in his class with him which makes him very happy. I had to talk him into giving me a hug and I couldn't talk him into waving to me goodbye. :( When I asked him how his day was he said, "good." His favorite part was playing on the playground and he made one new friend but he doesn't know his name yet. Neither one of my boys needed me today, that was a sad realization I came to. I guess they are growing up. All in all it was a good day and Jaxon didn't seem to miss his brothers too bad, we will see how the rest of the week goes.

Welcome Kason!!!
What a surprise! Saturday morning I woke up at about 6:00 and was having different pains I had never had before. They were not too bad so I went back to sleep until about 8:30. When I woke up then they were worse, so after calling my advisers (mom & Tracey) I got up and started doing the normal routine. It only took about 1/2 hour and I had three contractions. Nothing major just a little pain but nothing that I would normally worry about. I decided to call the doctor and they told me to go to the hospital and be checked out. Now, I have never gone into labor before so I had no idea what was going on, besides the fact I was scheduled for a c-section on the 18th. I decided if this was going to happen today that I needed to clean up my house. I recruited the boys to help me. We cleaned, packed a bag for me just in case and showered all of us. I took the boys over to Tracey's about 12:30 and headed for the hospital. I left my bag at home thinking they were just going to tell me to go home and relax. I called Randy at work just to let him know what was going on but told him not to worry about coming to the hospital and I would call him if I needed him. Well to my surprise after about 1/2 being at the hospital the nurse came in and said they are going to be doing a c-section at 4:00. WHAT!! WHAT!! I DON'T EVEN HAVE MY BAG, CAMERA AND MY HUSBANDS NOT HERE! I get on the phone and after 5 minutes of convincing Randy that I wasn't joking he was on his way from work. By the time I made the call to Tracey and my mom they nurse had come back in. The news this time was Dr. Turner didn't want to wait until then with it being my 4th c-section and I was having so many contractions. They moved up the time to 2:30 or 3:00 as soon as they could prep me for surgery. This was only about an hour away! Randy shows up in his work clothes all dirty from trimming all day and has to put on his scrubs right away. David gets there shortly after Randy with Joe and Tracey's video camera!!( Thanks Dave) Then we were off to have a baby 2 and 1/2 weeks early! Kason was born at 3:16pm! He was perfect! I guess he wanted to finish us off with a bang! I have never gone into labor with any of the others and although I have always hoped all of them would come early they never did. Kason definitely wanted to be different. He weighed 5lbs 7 oz and 18 inches long. Our smallest by far! Well because he was so small the nurses said that he had some issues with keeping his blood sugar up. He was admitted to the NICU Sunday morning at about 2:00. They had to put an IV in him to give him sugar water. They then had to check his blood sugar before he ate each time. After being on the IV for 24 hours he was well enough to stop the IV. I went down every three hours to feed and hold him. It was heartbreaking for me and I just wanted to take him home. Well, I got my wish and we were both discharged Tuesday morning!! He is doing wonderful now! We went to the doctor yesterday and he has gained another ounce since we left the hospital on Tuesday and she says he looks great. What a joy it is to have him here. It is amazing that it doesn't matter how many kids you have you love them all the same. You are as excited to have the 4th just as much as you were to have your 1st. Here is a slide show I made with the pictures I have thus far. Cameron is in California until Sunday so we are missing one more boy!
